Bag2School is a simple way to clear out your wardrobe and donate your unwanted items. On the collection date, just bring your bin bags of items to school and Bag2School will collect them. They will pay us based on the collective weight of the bags.

The clothing will then start a new life! This can be a purpose built second hand store in Eastern Europe or South America, or a market stall in East or West Africa, providing valuable employment for importers, warehouse staff, transport companies and stall holders as well as affordable clothes for local people.

What is and isn't accepted

 

Bag2School accept the following ‘good quality’ items for RE-USE*:

• Men’s, Ladies’ and Children’s clothing

• Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)

• Handbags

• Hats

• Bags

• Scarves and ties

• Jewellery

• Lingerie

• Socks

• Belts

• Soft toys

• Household linen

• Household curtains

• Household towels

• Household bedding (bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers)

* Bag2School reserve the right to refuse any unsuitable items

 

They DO NOT accept:

• Duvets and blankets

• Pillows and cushions

• Carpets, rugs and mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats)

• Soiled, painted, ripped or wet clothing

• School uniforms with and without logo

• Corporate clothing and workwear

• Textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material
